SPINFEST Worldwide
SPINFEST began as an idea in India: a festival that could make sustainability fun, tangible, and community-driven. What started as a bold experiment in turning public spaces into zones of repair, reuse, and reimagination has grown into a global movement.
The Trackhawk Foundation, our parent organization, built SPINFEST to break the myth that sustainability is only for experts or activists. Instead, it is about everyday actions—fixing what’s broken, sharing what’s abundant, and celebrating what’s possible when communities come together.
From bustling city streets to quiet campuses, SPINFEST has always carried one message: + Add Sustainability, – Subtract Harmful Practices. This simple formula is now shaping conversations across continents.
Our Mission
SPINFEST Worldwide exists to inspire people everywhere to rethink the way we live, consume, and connect with our environment.
-
To turn sustainability into a culture, not just a conversation.
-
To create spaces where communities can learn, repair, and innovate.
-
To bring together citizens, creators, institutions, and businesses for collaborative action.
-
To measure impact not only in numbers but in stories of changed lives and renewed hope.
Our Vision
We imagine a world where sustainability is not a choice but a way of life.
-
Products are designed to last, not to be discarded.
-
Energy is clean and shared.
-
Cities breathe with green spaces instead of smog.
-
Education plants seeds of responsibility as early as childhood.
-
Communities celebrate culture while protecting the planet.
SPINFEST Worldwide is not just a festival, it is a distributed movement weaving together art, science, business, and community action across borders.

Founding Story & Timeline
SPINFEST was born from a question inside the Trackhawk Foundation: What if sustainability could be celebrated like a festival, instead of feared as a sacrifice?
In 2022, the idea took shape in India with small-scale community repair drives and student workshops. These early experiments proved that sustainability could be both practical and joyful.
By 2023, the first pilot activations under the SPINFEST banner drew students, creators, and small businesses together in a common space. A blueprint emerged: pop-ups, challenges, and digital storytelling working hand in hand.
In 2024, the initiative faced its biggest test. The ambition of hosting a single large-scale festival in India proved financially unsustainable. Instead of ending, SPINFEST pivoted into something more powerful: a distributed model called SPINFEST Worldwide.
In 2025, SPINFEST spread into global hubs, with partnerships across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. The movement shifted from being an event to a living framework for sustainability activations.
Today, SPINFEST stands as a network of interconnected projects, a timeline still unfolding, and a story still being written in cities across the world.
